Each major military installation has a Retiree Activities Office, which administers to military retirees, spouses and widows of retirees. The primary purpose of the Retiree Office is to offer assistance in a multitude of areas that affect the retiree, irrespective of branch of service. Even though McClellan is no longer an active installation, retirees in the Sacramento are very fortunate to have such an office located on McClellan Park, in the VA clinic, building 98 room 1H10, which is the former 77th Medical Group building. We are a satellite of the Retiree Activities Office at Travis AFB, CA. The director of the McClellan Retiree Activities Office is CMSgt (RET) George Moses, an Air Force Veteran who served on active duty for 34 years. This office is staffed by an outstanding dedicated group of volunteers who offer their services in support of the Retiree Community.

The office is open Monday thru Thursday, from 0900 to 1500 (3PM) hours. Our volunteers can be reached at (916)561-7476.
