Travis Chief's Group Monthly AADD Award

A1C Christine Arizpe won the monthly AADD Award for Oct 08

During the first presentation of the Chief's AADD Volunteer Award of the month
Chief select SMSgt Cabral (above right) presents the Travis Chief's
Group AADD Award to SSgt Magrum (above left) for doing such an outstanding job
with the Airmen Against Drunken Drivers(AADD) program.

A group of Chiefs from the Travis Chief Chiefs Group were given
a hands on guided tour of David Grant Medical Center on Travis AFB
on Monday May 19th. Below are a few photos of their visit.

Chief Joe Mangum diligently works the removal of a gall bladder. He's thinking. "Dirt Boys move over, there a doctor in the house!"

SSgt Fronefield attempts to remediate Chief Murphy on the fact this is not a KC-10 Boom, but rather a delicate intubation. Frank, at least your patient lived.

Chief Mangum completes his procedure. Joe, it’s not funny, he bled to death – it was a surgical procedure, not a bull dozer. On the other side Michelle Sobel realizes this is not like cleaning teeth.

Chief Wiggins presents the Travis Chiefs Group Sharp Troop Award to A1C Dixon who works at the DGMC at Travis.

2007

The 17th Annual Gathering of the Chiefs
was held at Travis AFB on June 22, 2007
at the Delta Breeze Club and was a huge
success thanks to the Travis Chiefs Group.

Chief George Moses USAF Retired, presented a check, on behalf of the
Travis Chiefs Group, for $500 to our Scholarship winner, SSgt Jessica Huerta,
60th Communication Sq at the CCAF Graduation on 3 May 2007.

She also received a $500 check from the AFA at the same event. Pretty good deal.
